Description: Cornerburn High is a short story about a fifteen year-old girl named Bethy whose best friend’s cousin is now attending her school. The thing is, her cousin is a very popular singer, Nathan, who unintentionally causes trouble for Bethy. Lunch comes around and Bethy tells Nathan off for cutting in the lunch line. Her worst enemy, Gemma, hears about this and insults Bethy, who then insults her back. Gemma dumps her lunch on Bethy who is helped by Nathan. The story ends with Nathan leaving, smiling at Bethy who has just developed a deep crush on him. Click Here to read this story online.
